Tv Mag Cover

I have created a mock up of a typical TV listing magazine cover.

I have been copying the conventions of a typical cover like this:

However I feel that this type of cover does not appeal to a teenage audience like myself. The cover is too busy and neony in colour. 

There for we have decided to replica a Tv Listing Cover like those of the Radio Times. They are simpler covers and don't look as 'tacky.'
